This was the first week back from high school to elementary school. The transition back to elementary school was not a hard as I thought it was going to be. I really thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was, I was able to get right back into the swing of things.
This week I just observed and got to know the children. I also sent home my parent letter introducing myself to them. I think this is important to do so that they understand more of what is going on in the classroom.
ACTION RESEARCH
I have started the Action Research process. I have gotten my research approved with my school and will start the process of how things will work on Monday. This will be my time to find out the level of my students.
I have determined the number of students that I am going to collect the data from. MY students that I am going to work with are in the second and first grade. I will be working more with the lower level group. Since the groups are already set up I will keep the groups. Both groups will participate but I will only focus on the first group that I will be working with.
